Faith Statement & Policy
(Including legal context under the Equality Act 2010)
Who We Are
Mission Support Network (UK) is a developing initiative currently operating as a sole trader business with the clear intention of becoming a not-for-profit organisation. Our mission is to support Christian organisations across the UK—churches, Christian charities, homeschool groups, and mission-based ministries—by connecting them with trusted, faith-aligned suppliers.

Everything we do is centred around equipping Christian organisations to thrive in their calling and focus on Gospel impact.
Faith Alignment & Our Statement of Faith
All suppliers who join our network are required to agree to our Statement of Faith, which affirms the core Christian beliefs that guide our work. This ensures that both the organisations we serve and the suppliers we recommend share the same spiritual foundation.

We believe this faith alignment helps build trust, accountability, and purpose-driven relationships between those serving and those being served. Suppliers come from a variety of backgrounds and professions, but all must affirm their Christian faith and commitment to Kingdom values as outlined below.
Statement of Faith
All suppliers joining the Mission Support Network (UK) must affirm the following statement of faith, which reflects foundational Christian beliefs and values. This ensures alignment with the mission-driven organisations we serve and fosters a community rooted in shared faith principles.

1. God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things and sovereign over every aspect of life (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).

2. Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (John 1:1; Matthew 1:23; 1 Corinthians 15:3–8).

3. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity, co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He is the Comforter, Teacher, and Guide who dwells in believers, empowering them for Christian living and giving spiritual gifts for service (John 14:26; Acts 2:38; Galatians 5:22–23).

4. The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

5. Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. All who repent and trust in Him as Saviour are born again and reconciled to God (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–13).

6. Work as Worship
We believe that work is a gift from God and an opportunity to glorify Him by serving others with integrity, excellence, and love. Suppliers are called to act ethically in all business dealings as an expression of their faith (Colossians 3:23–24; Matthew 5:16).

7. Unity of Believers
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ and commit to fostering collaboration and mutual support within the Christian community (Ephesians 4:4–6).

Agreement
By joining Mission Support Network (UK), suppliers affirm this statement of faith and agree to conduct their work with integrity, professionalism, and respect for the values of the organisations they serve.
This statement ensures alignment with biblical principles while creating a trusted network for churches and charities seeking faith-driven service providers.
Why This Matters
Mission Support Network (UK) exists specifically to serve Christian organisations and ministries. As such, we operate in line with the faith-based exemptions provided under the Equality Act 2010, which allow faith-based initiatives to require shared religious beliefs where this is a legitimate and proportionate part of their purpose. In our case, faith alignment is central to our mission and how we operate.

We do not exclude or discriminate against individuals, but our network is intentionally built for Christian organisations and Christian-led suppliers who wish to serve within this shared context.
Membership Contribution
Suppliers may be required to pay a membership contributon to access and be listed on the Mission Support Network (UK) platform. This fee helps us sustain, grow, and promote the network while maintaining high-quality services and support for both suppliers and organisations.

However, payment of a fee does not replace or override our requirement for faith alignment. All suppliers—regardless of any fee—must agree to our Statement of Faith and uphold our values. The integrity of our Christian focus remains at the heart of everything we do.

Surplus income will be used to further the aims of the organisation. Mission Support Network will aim to keep any fees as low as possible to further the impact of the Christian Gospel in the UK.
Clarity and Transparency
-
All potential suppliers are made aware of our faith-based requirements before joining
-
Mission Support Network (UK) currently operates without employed staff or contractors. All suppliers are independent and join the network voluntarily. Should we employ staff in future, we will continue to operate in line with our faith-based values and the relevant legal frameworks.
-
Our goal is to create a trusted, Christ-centred environment for meaningful, mission-driven partnerships
Legal Status Note
Mission Support Network (UK) is currently operating under a sole trader structure while the groundwork is laid for its transition to a formal not-for-profit organisation. Our mission and ethos reflect our intention to operate in the public interest and serve the Christian community with transparency, accountability, and a commitment to Kingdom values.
